We had a lovely 2 week stay at Happy del Sol. The apartment is very nice with lots of Mexican decor. There were nice considerate touches. Lots of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Extra toilet paper, paper towel. A well stocked kitchen. Plenty of bottled water. A comfortable king sized bed. The pool area and our shaded veranda were very nice. We could eat outside and relax on the day bed.There are some books available for reading. The apartment is a little dark but there are lots of lights everywhere. Great AC and several ceiling fans. The bathroom is small but cute and functional. There is an extra vanity sink in the unit. The bathroom does get a bit musty due to no outside ventilation but we emptied the garbage everyday and opened the windows and it helped. The neighborhood feels safe but does have the usual residential noise. Roosters, traffic, dogs etc. But not too bad. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Pancho!

Could Have Been Better The location of Casa Happy Sol is nicely tucked away in a quiet part of town. The suite was spacious with a large kitchen.The outdoor area was a nice feature. Everything else was meh. Not very clean, an overwhelming smell of musk, and the decor seemed like a mismatched array of hand-me-downs.. The bathroom was especially of note in regards to the smell and a mouldy wall. Your neighbours will also make or break this experience as noise travels. We were grateful to have great neighbours in two of the suites but the third enjoyed drinking heavily and yelling throughout the night. I did communicate this with the host and he did respond promptly about a water issue but not much else. We ended up leaving a night early and were told we would be refunded for our last night but I am still waiting for the payment. I think the suites have potential if a little bit of attention was given to remodelling and cleanliness. Could also be a nice idea to stock a few basics in the kitchen like coffee, salt and pepper, etc. All that said, it was on the cheaper end of accommodations so it will work for you if you have low expectations. But I think there are better places available in this price range.

Would stay again We have stayed at this location 3 times, previously with different management so we knew the location etc. The woman who cleans is great and the property is well maintained by a person who is friendly and helpful.
