About this property
A bright, family-friendly home in quiet Oceanside, Oregon. A hidden gem on the coast where you can often have the beach to yourselves, wander peaceful streets, and settle into slow, nature-filled days.
Oceanside is wonderfully solitary and understated, with quiet streets, dramatic headlands, and uncrowded beaches. Why fight the crowds at Cannon Beach when you can enjoy the calm and space here instead?
With 3 bedrooms + a loft, 2 full bathrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, and parking for up to 4 cars, this home is an ideal base for relaxed coastal living. Guests enjoy cooking at home, crabbing in nearby Netarts Bay, hunting for agates along the shoreline, or—if you’re lucky—catching bioluminescence glowing in the surf at night.
Instead of busy trailheads, visitors love wandering Oceanside’s quiet streets and discovering the village’s hidden staircases tucked between homes and along the hillsides. The tidepools here are excellent, with sea anemones and other marine life easy to spot at low tide. Bald eagles are regularly seen, and you can often watch paragliders sailing gracefully over the beach.
For one of the best views on the Oregon Coast, hike or drive up to the paragliders’ takeoff spot, where you’ll look out over Three Arch Rocks, the dramatic sea stacks rising just offshore from Oceanside and protected as a national wildlife refuge. Bringing binoculars makes it even better.
The home sleeps up to 9 with a flexible bed setup for couples, kids, and friends—perfect for unplugging, exploring the coast, and enjoying Oregon’s quieter side, all within easy reach of Portland.
